Runnin the exe directly causes the exact same problem.
I've gotten a clue.. The problem is that the .msi file gets deleted from the
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\{766B7D9A-006D-4B99-BA57-D337BFEF0D3D}
folder.
It appears to be deleted by McAfee Enterprise Antivirus during it's cleanup.
I removed McAfee agent from the system and the ...

Replaced the shortcut, same results.
No matter which icon/shortcut/path I use to start VENM it still happens.
BUT not every time, and not until I've loged out and back in.

Could you document the sequence for lookup and use of username and passwords. There are several different levels and locations for storage of several usernames and passwords. Some are VNC some are windows RDP some are windows admin use and some appear to be duplicates. I'm having trouble getting the login to work right, it seems to be only ...

About every third time I logout and login I have to reinstall the console.
When I click the desktop icon it immediately goes into the win install mode and gives the error
unable to locate a file... the file location is
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\{766B7D9A-006D-4B99-BA57-D337BFEF0D3D}\
If I click OK on the error box it then complains ...

Please add a preference switch to make passwords visible (human readable) in the property sheets.
Storage as encrypted is okay so files can't be snarfed and used to break in (too easily), but with 228systems to manage (all with unique passwords, much to my dismay) keeping track of passwords is a real problem.
