We sometimes have to deploy VNC over dial-up connections to remote computers. VNC's fastpush is pushing out the sames files twice. If you deploy vnc using a depoyment profile using a non standard port (5901) for example. When the object is created in the managed group, the object's vnc settings are still at the default 5900. Using Build 2006.6.27.7 When you try to enter a UNC path for the support files , it will not accept the UNC path for the groups.xml file. If you use a mapped drive, it works fine. The UNC path works for the location of deployment profiles, just not the groups.xml. This seems like a bug ie \\server\share\location\groups.xml will not work ...
