Groups.xml location on a share not working

I am needing to put my groups and profiles on a network share, as we are looking to expand the number of people using VNCScan across several different offices.  I have put the groups and profiles folders at the following location \\servername\InformationTechnology\VNCScan and I am able to change my support files for Profiles to that share, but I am unable to change the Groups location to a UNC path.  Any UNC path I enter for groups.xml does not save, and reverts to c:\documents and setings...

I am able to first map say a drive V: to the path listed, and set it up that way, but we will be sharing the same files across 5 offices, and I'm trying to avoid mapping another drive on each Administrators PC...

    I'm using VNCScan version 2008.1.28.129

This shouldn't be.  I'll look into this today and get back with more information.

    Any developments on this issue?

Re: Groups.xml location on a share not working

No fix yet.  It seems to work find on a mapped drive but is having a pesky problem using UNC's.  This should be fixed in the next release.  Until then, is it possible to map a drive and share it that way?

    Thank you,

Re: Groups.xml location on a share not working

Sounds good.  I've mapped a drive for the computers currently running VNCScan, I'd like to avoid it with the other sites we're buying licenses for, but I can wait for next release.

    Thank you!
