UVNC connection rejected

    UVNC connection rejected

    Hi All,

    Over the past couple of months we are having trouble with UVNC connections being rejected. Un-installing/reinstalling or refreshing doesn't help. So this is a little different than the same type of problems expressed in the 2 year old thread on this board.

    What I have noticed sometimes when the scripts run is the notation that the machine have VNC3 and the versions we are running now show VNC4 as the install script runs. Other machines do not have any problems. I have not found a log any place to check - is there one that might give me more detailed error messages as to the connection rejection?

    We are pushing UltraVNC version 1.0.4 via VENM version 2007.12.12.123. and earlier.

    Hi Barry,

      Are you sure that you're deploying version 1.0.4  The version of server that ships with that version of VENM is 1.0.2.

    Hi back Sam, Sorry for the late reply - got busy then forgot I posted...  :)

    Yes you are right it is 1.0.2 according to the readme file in the Fastpush folder. I was going off of the VNC Viewer Message box that says UltraVnc 1.0.4.

    This could be a local/network issue as some machines that I and other members of the team could not make a connection to, now can. I still have one machine that I am aware of however that will rejects the connection. This is a machine that I have tried to refresh and remove/reinstall without success.

    Any ideas?
