Stupid Windows Defender

Has anyone found a way to stop Defender from detecting VNC as spyware other than physically touching the machine? I have remote machines all over the place and it would take weeks to go do them all. Thanks

I know, Defender is a pain. So far, I haven't found a way to automate the exclusion but I'm still playing with it.
