    Custom Switches not working

I'm trying to set the /64colors switch under prefrences Support Files, Custom VnC Viewer Command Switches.  I have tried the /256colors and /64colors switches but the viewer keeps coming up with auto.  This is making my connections via VPN take very long to load the inital page before it switches to it's approperiate color depth.

Has anyone seen this?  Is it a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

I can look into this to see if it's a bug.  Are you using UltraVNC with Windows authentication or standard VNC authentication?

This was fixed in the previous release, but is broken in the latest release....

I hope this gets fixed soon!

    Re: Custom Switches not working

It appears to be a bug in the latest ultravnc releases.  It even fails to comply with the switches if you run it from the command line:

    c:\fastpush\vnc7\ultra\vncviewer.exe servername /64colors

It seems like the latest viewer complely ignores the switch.  I'm bringing this up with the UlraVNC guys today.

    Thank you,
