    Version 2007.10.1.8 bugs

    1.  The installer for Microsoft PsExec errors out.

    2.  When trying to launch a VNC connection from the system tray, it only brings up the start a new connection dialog.

    3.  I have to ask this also:  Can you make VENM startup to the system tray as an option so that I can autorun it, but its not in the way when I log into the computer.

I am also having some problems. When I try to add a new network place the dialog box opens up and I put in our domain. When I press OK nothing seems to happen. I have tried adding the .com and using the AD checkmark and not checked. so right now I do not have any network places listed.

I don't want to leave you hanging on this one.  I am looking into this right now.  I suspect that it has something to do with a corrupted domains.xml file because this is where that data is stored.  For the life of me, I haven't been able to reproduce it yet, though!

If you can offer any more clues about your configuration such as if you upgraded VNCScan recently, what version you came from, where your data files are stored on your system, etc., that would help me out a lot.

    Thank you,

In your "My Documents", there's a folder called VNCScan.  In that folder, there's one called Data. Inside that folder, there should be a file named domains.xml.

That file holds your network names. If you delete that file, our problem will be resolved.
