In Windows 7, with User Account Control (UAC) disabled (lowest setting), the Crtrl-Alt-Del console button does not work. Is there any other method of inputting the Ctrl-Alt-Del command from the console for Win 7?

Can we get reply on this? I've shipped 82 machines to our branch offices across the state, only to find that I can't even log in to them because of this UAC issue. At least let us know if this is a Bozteck issue, a general VNC problem, or a Microsoft issue.

Hello,

There is an issue on this at the UltraVNC forums. I'll attempt to get some clarity on it before suggesting a fix. You can also see threads about it at http://www.google.com/search?q=ctrl+alt+del&sitesearch=forum.ultravnc.info

My situation is much worse Weavercl. I work for a large school district and we are deploying 2500 new Win 7 systems at 40 sites by school start on Aug 2nd. Some of our educational software requires that the UAC be disabled. We decided to disable the CAD requirement on the Win 7 systems, however, we make images for each site and remove the master from the domain before imaging. When the freshly imaged systems are put back on the domain, by default, the CAD requirement is re-enabled.
Out temporary work around is to remote desktop onto the computer, run NetPlWiz - Advanced Tab and disable the CAD. Then run the shutdown /f /r command and reboot, then we are able to VNC in, a very ugly process.

Any help with this issue would be GREATLY appreciated !
